The Rolling Stones kicked off the US leg of their “50 and Counting” tour to a packed house tonight at The Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. Mick, Keith, Charlie and Ronnie celebrated in style and delivered a 2 hour plus set with all the hits taken from every decade of their career plus the two new stand out tracks – ‘One More Shot’ and ‘Doom And Gloom’.

Among the fans were Paul McCartney, Martin Sorsese, Bette Midler, Scarlett Johansson, Jimmy Fallon, Katie Couric, Matt Lauer, Brian Williams, Larry King, Ed Westwick, Anna Wintour and Jim Courier.

Mary J. Blige joined the band on stage for “Gimme Shelter” and Gary Clark Jr. was on hand for “Going Down”

Mick delighted the sell out crowd by dancing and singing his away across the stunning and massive Tongue and Lips stage, while Keith was effortlessly cool turning out his trademark licks. Ronnie added killer riffs while the ever-reliable Charlie drove the band on throughout.

They rounded out the show with an energetic three-song encore featuring, “You Can’t Always Get What You Want,” “Jumpin’ Jack Flash” and “Satisfaction.”
