Tonight the Rolling Stones played a historic show at Havana’s Ciudad Deportiva, to probably their biggest ever crowd.
To an enraptured crowd, who had never seen a British band perform on such a scale, the Stones played classics ‘Jumpin’ Jack Flash’, ‘Paint It Black’, ‘Miss You’ and song vote winner ‘All Down The Line’.
Mick said, “Here we are finally! We are sure that this night is going to be an unforgettable night, for you and for us.”
He added, “We know that years ago it was difficult to listen to our music here in Cuba, but here we are, playing for you in your beautiful land. I think that finally things have changed, haven’t they?”
The Rolling Stones are now heading back to their hometown of London, where they will open their exhibition at the Saatchi Gallery, on 5th April. See you on the King’s Road!
