“I was at the College at the time, going out only three times a year. We were listening only classical music and "chansonniers" like Aznavour, Brel, .... Suddenly everybody was talking about the Beatles and were bringing records that we had permision to hear.. during english courses. I found the Beatles music interesting, a kind continuation of the Everly Brothers and Elvis. But when I heard the Stones, that was a schock. I have heard before Not Fade Away, Tell Me, Heart of Stone but Last Time and Satisfaction were really a bang in my head. A mix of blues, rock, pop; really something different not commercial as the Beatles.
