04.14.09 38 Years Ago Today The Rolling Stones Released 'Brown Sugar'

Today in 1971, The Rolling Stones released "Brown Sugar," the first record on their own label, Rolling Stones Records, which introduced the now infamous licking-tongue and lips logo. Since then, "Brown Sugar," the opening track of the band's classic Sticky Fingers, has become a blues-rock classic.

This May 5th, the Stones will be releasing newly re-mastered versions of Sticky Fingers and three other classic albums, giving you a chance to experience "Brown Sugar" once again, this time in all its re-mastered glory. Click here to pre-order your copy today.
