11.05.09 Mick Performs with U2 at Madison Square Garden

Mick Jagger returned to the Madison Sq Garden stage last week as U2's surprise guest during their performance at the 25th anniversary of the Rock'n'Roll Hall of Fame.

Without any introduction Mick strode on stage to sing an unbelievable version of "Gimme Shelter" with U2, Black Eyed Peas' Will I Am on keyboards, and Fergie recreating Merry Clayton's apocalyptic vocals. Mick then stayed on for a rousing duet with Bono on U2's "Stuck In A Moment You Can't Get Out Of."

In the U.S., four hours of highlights of the Rock'n'Roll Hall of Fame will air on November 29 at 8pm ET on HBO.
