Stones In Exile DVD out now.
If you missed the recent TV broadcast of the excellent Stones In Exile documentary, or even if you didn't and want to get even deeper into the Exile story, then good news - it's now available on DVD.
Stones In Exile has contributions from all the band members who were involved in making the album plus Martin Scorsese, Jack White, Don Was, Caleb Followill (Kings Of Leon), Benicio Del Toro, Will.I.Am (Black Eyed Peas), Sheryl Crow, Anita Pallenberg, Ronnie Wood, producer Jimmy Miller, engineer Andy Johns, photographer Dominique Tarlé and sax player Bobby Keys all share what Exile means to them.
The TV broadcast was 60 minutes long, but the DVD contains bonus footage of band interviews and of Mick Jagger and Charlie Watts returning to Olympic Studios and to Jagger’s country house Stargroves where a lot of the early work on the album was done.
UK fans can order the DVD at Amazon, Play or HMV.
International order info to follow.

Following the River explains it " not much future left for me and you", and I really don't like that at all.”
“My greatest memory of the Rolling Stones is the consert at RÃ¥sunda Football Stadium in Stockholm 1972 and my favorite records are "Little Queenie" and "Rocks off". You´re the best Rock´n band ever and i´ll hope to see you again.
All best

“I hear the Stones every day since 1971. Since then I have collected pictures, rarities and everything that refers to the Stones.

“The Rolling Stones deal with Target is a shame. Target supports discrimination against gays, and has given money to a candidate who believes gays should be executed... ”

I am a past member and loyal fan, and was privaleged to be able to purchase concert tickets before they went on sale to the general public. Is this still possible as there are rumors of an upcoming farewell tour starting in 2011? If the fan club is up and running, can you please send me the link? You've done a great job with the new website!

I hadn't heard of them yet, and when the song, "Tell Me" came on the radio, I was struck and stopped what I was doing to hear who it was. Then every time it came on I was stirred inside. And later when I saw them on the Ed Sullivan show, I was totally taken! I was just a naive, inexperienced girl, but when I saw them live in '65 in Boston Garden, I cupped my hands around my mouth, yelling, "Pure sex, pure sex...pure sex...!!!"
Anyway, now I'm a retired teacher/grandmother and I'm back into them big-time since seeing their awesome performance in the Tami Show on public television. I love to exercise on my trampoline while they perform on DVDs and I want footage of them doing "Down Home Girl" and every song they ever did. Come on guys, put it all out there! Love, Dixie”
