The Sticky Fingers Gallery

It's hard to believe that it ever got better than this. You decide to get out of a crippling record deal that's cost you millions, take a punt, start your own label, and proceed to record what might be the best album in rock 'n' roll history, which goes on to sell millions and millions all over the world, making you the biggest band around (The Beatles RIP), as if you weren't already, and some of the most famous people in the world. Check it out. Some say that Exile On Main St. tops Sticky Fingers, and maybe in terms of pure rock decadence, it does; but it's also hard to deny that these images describe a band and a brand that was whipping it harder than anyone else, not just round midnight but right round the clock.
